Peer Review Process

JEES Journal is a journal published by Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang. Submitted papers are evaluated by anonymous referees by double blind peer review for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. The editor will inform the results of the review as soon as possible, hopefully less than two weeks. For checking Plagiarism, JEES Editor will screen plagiarism manually (offline and online database) on the Title, Abstract, and Body Text of the manuscript. If there is a plagiarism indication, editorial board will reject manuscript immediately.

Review process:

  1. Editor receives manuscript from the author
  2. Editor validates manuscript (aim and scope, writing style, supplementary data); rejected if it does not meet the criteria.
  3. Editor checks and filters for plagiarism on offline and online database manually; (contact the author for clarification)
  4. Editor sends manuscript to the reviewers along with online review form (double blind review, both reviewer and author remain anonymous to each other)
  5. Editor decision (rejected, need major or minor revision, or accepted)
  6. Confirmation to the author If the article needs revision, the author has to revise and resend the manuscript in 2 weeks.
