PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA FLASHCARD BERBASIS LITERASI UNTUK MELATIH KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN PESERTA DIDIK KELAS I SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract
This study aims to describe the development of literacy-based flashcard media as a learning medium to train early reading skills in grade I students, describe the feasibility of literacy-based flashcard media as a learning medium to train early reading skills in grade I students, and describe student responses after using literacy-based flashcard media as a learning medium to train early reading skills in grade I students. This study uses a Research & Development (R&D) approach adapted from the Borg and Gall model by utilizing 6 stages. Grade I students were used as research subjects. The study used interviews, questionnaires, and documentation as data collection methods. The results of the study were (1) getting an average value from the validation of the media expert team of 69.33% with the category "Feasible" (2) the average value from the material expert team of 94.15% with the category "Very Feasible" (3) the average value from the language expert team of 95% in the category "Very Feasible" and (4) the average value of student responses was 89% and entered the category "Very Good". It can be concluded that literacy-based flashcard media is suitable for use so that it can be used as a teaching medium to train initial reading skills.
