Abstract
This study investigated the relationship between the implementation of learning organizations and leadership styles in enhancing teacher professional development and its correlation with teachers' organizational commitment in Siantan. The research employed a quantitative approach, with the population consisting of all elementary school teachers in Siantan District. The study utilized a descriptive method with an interrelationship study design aimed at examining the relationship between the implementation of learning organizations and leadership styles in developing teacher learning capacity with teachers' organizational commitment in Siantan District. The sample comprised 56 teachers. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using Pearson's product-moment correlation analysis. Data analysis techniques included validity testing, reliability testing, and descriptive analysis. The results revealed three main findings: First, there was a significant relationship between school principals' implementation of learning organizations in teacher development and teachers' organizational commitment in Siantan. Second, a clear correlation was identified between principals' leadership styles in fostering teacher learning and teachers' organizational commitment levels. Third, the analysis quantified the strength of these relationships, demonstrating that: (a) the implementation of learning organizations accounted for 42.64% of the variance in organizational commitment, while the remaining 57.36% was influenced by other external variables; and (b) the application of leadership styles explained 35.40% of commitment variance, with 64.60% attributable to factors beyond the study's parameters.
