Abstract

ABSTRACT

The ability to think creatively is one of the 21st-century competencies, which is an important aspect of learning. Through creativity acquired at a young age, individuals can more easily solve problems in their daily life and become more productive in adulthood. The aim of this research is to identify students' creative thinking skills after being given learning using a project based learning approach. The population in this study is all students of semester VI of IKIP PGRI Pontianak Physics Education Study Program who take Physics Laboratory Engineering courses in even semester TA. 2020/2021. Sampling techniques used are saturated sampling techniques. The data collection technique used is observation with a data collection tool in the form of a discussion transcript sheet. The data obtained in this study was analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of research that has been done, project based learning can develop students' creative thinking skills. In detail, students' creative thinking skills have evolved in fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration, while metamorphosis thinking has not yet appeared in learning.
