PENGARUH KEJELASAN SILABUS DAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN TERHADAP KESIAPAN MAHASISWA STKIP MELAWI DALAM MENGIKUTI PERKULIAHAN

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kejelasan silabus dan metode pembelajaran terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa Program Studi PGSD STKIP Melawi dalam mengikuti perkuliahan. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain explanatory research digunakan untuk menguji hubungan kausal antara variabel independen (kejelasan silabus dan metode pembelajaran) dan variabel dependen (kesiapan mahasiswa). Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kejelasan silabus (? = 0,45) dan metode pembelajaran (? = 0,35) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa, dengan kontribusi bersama sebesar 65%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa silabus yang jelas dan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dapat meningkatkan kesiapan mahasiswa secara holistik. Rekomendasi praktis meliputi peningkatan kualitas penyusunan silabus dan pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the influence of syllabus clarity and teaching methods on the readiness of students in the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program at STKIP Melawi in attending lectures. A quantitative approach with an explanatory research design was used to examine the causal relationship between the independent variables (syllabus clarity and teaching methods) and the dependent variable (student readiness). Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that syllabus clarity (? = 0.45) and teaching methods (? = 0.35) significantly influence student readiness, with a combined contribution of 65%. These findings suggest that a clear syllabus and innovative teaching methods can holistically enhance student readiness. Practical recommendations include improving the quality of syllabus preparation and selecting teaching methods that align with student needs.
