PENERAPAN EDUCAPLAY DENGAN STRATEGI KOMPETISI KELOMPOK KECIL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA KELAS III SD

Abstract


This research aims to improve the relationship skills of third-grade elementary school students through the application of Educaplay with a small group competition strategy. The research focuses on CASEL's social-emotional competencies in the aspect of relationship skills, which include communication, cooperation, social awareness, conflict resolution, and social engagement in learning. This research uses the classroom action research method with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted at SD N Jombor 03, Bendosari District, Sukoharjo Regency. The instruments used in this study were relationship skills questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The research results show that there was an increase in the average relationship skills scores of the students from 56.9% in the pre-action phase to 83.6% in the second cycle. In addition, all students achieved scores above 75% in cycle II. This improvement is also supported by observations of students' behavior, which demonstrate good relationship skills. Therefore, the implementation of Educaplay with a small group competition strategy can be an alternative effective learning strategy to enhance students' relationship skills in elementary schools.
