Hubungan Mathematical Perception dan Mathematical Well-Being Terhadap Matematika: Studi Eksplanatori Calon Guru
Abstract
Dalam konteks pendidikan calon guru, persepsi terhadap matematika memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap pengalaman belajar, motivasi, dan kesejahteraan psikologis individu, juga menjadi hal yang penting karena dapat memengaruhi kesiapan mereka dalam mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara Mathematical Perception dan Mathematical Well-Being pada calon guru sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksplanatori, yang memungkinkan peneliti untuk menjelaskan hubungan sebab-akibat antara kedua variabel tersebut. Uji korelasi Spearman's rho digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan linier antara Mathematical Perception dan Mathematical Well-Being, sementara analisis regresi linier digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh Mathematical Perception terhadap Mathematical Well-Being. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara Mathematical Perception dan Mathematical Well-Being, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.364 (Sig. 0.000). Selain itu, hasil uji regresi linier menunjukkan bahwa Mathematical Perception secara signifikan mempengaruhi Mathematical Well-Being. Dimensi Mathematical Well-Being yang paling dipengaruhi adalah Ketahanan dan Makna, sedangkan Emosi Positif menunjukkan pengaruh yang lebih kecil. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman tentang pentingnya meningkatkan Mathematical Perception untuk mendukung kesejahteraan calon guru dalam menghadapi tantangan pembelajaran matematika, serta menyarankan pengembangan program pelatihan yang lebih berfokus pada penguatan Mathematical Perception calon guru untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan mereka.
