Abstract

ABSTRACT

Teachers serve as instructional leaders who require self-regulation and a design thinking mindset to address educational challenges. This study aims to analyze the influence of self-regulation and design thinking mindset on teachers' leadership mindset. A quantitative method employing multiple linear regression analysis was conducted on 37 teachers from three elementary schools under the Yayasan Strada, selected through saturated sampling. The instruments included questionnaires on self-regulation, design thinking mindset, and teacher leadership mindset. The findings revealed that teachers demonstrated high self-regulation (mean = 107.14), moderate design thinking mindset (mean = 121.41), and high teacher leadership mindset (mean = 82.73). Self-regulation and design thinking mindset significantly influenced teacher leadership mindset, contributing 59.4% to its variance. Schools should develop professional programs that strengthen self-regulation and design thinking mindset to enhance teacher leadership capacity.
